Dream Events Detroit, founded in 2023, is a premier event service provider in the metro Detroit area, based in Shelby Township/Macomb. With a rich history and deep roots in the event industry, we bring years of experience and passion to every celebration.

Our journey began in 2016 with Photo Booth services, quickly expanding to include custom balloon creations in 2018. Our love for photography started at a very young age. The foundation of Dream Events Detroit was built alongside my father, James Schmelzer, a talented photographer who introduced me to the world of photography and photo booths. Working with him ignited a passion for capturing memories and creating unforgettable experiences.

After venturing off to provide Photo Booth services and party decorations independently, I added photography to the business following my father’s passing. Today, Dream Events Detroit offers a comprehensive suite of services, including our versatile Digital Photo Booth, custom balloon designs, and professional photography, ensuring that every event we touch becomes a cherished memory.
